In the process of selling my house, a home inspection discovered a slight slope in my second story hallway. George came and evaluated and was so honest. He told us that there was nothing to be done, minor cosmetic fix, we were willing to do whatever it required to fix it. He wrote up his report and I sold my house.

My home twisted in the hurricane. The upper level began to collapse into my main floor. The structural engineer did an analysis and agreed that a properly placed beam would solve my issue. His team arrived soon after to support the area, then installed an I-Beam, removed part of my wall very neatly and carefully to install sturdier bracing, and did a good job cleaning up. Very clean, very courteous, meticulous. This was the easiest part of the entire restoration project. The crew was polite, quiet, top notch. I would use them again in a heartbeat, and have been happily passing on their information to my neighbors and friends.

Per our home inspector, we needed a structural inspector to come in to take a look at a few items. George was the inspector who came out to the home and he was great. He was thorough and very knowledgeable and very professional. If any work is needed once we purchase the house, I am definitely considering George and his team.

An engineer came and checked the house, looked at potential concerns we had and explained what had caused them and whether we had cause to worry. He found some issues in the basement he was not 100% of, so he sent a basement expert to our house about a week later to evaluate it (included in the cost of the service). Both of them were very nice and answered all our questions honestly and were able to allay many of the fears we had about the house. While some issues were discovered, it was nothing that had to be taken care of unless we wanted to. As first time homeowners it was reassuring to hear explanations of the various things we found.

George came by to give us a quote on our cracked structural beams and he was excellent – very personable and more importantly, thorough, he explained everything, was honest about what did and didn’t need to be fixed right away. We were impressed and the quote was fair, so we scheduled our repair. The guys were efficient and did a great job.

We are very pleased with the work Lallygone did to remediate old termite damage to the rim box by the porch and to repair a structural deficiency in one of the garage walls. Both jobs were done on time and efficiently and cleanly. George, the structural engineer, and Jerry and his workmen were informative and polite. Additionally, they were prompt each day, and the work was done as it was explained it would be. Importantly, they finished in the time frame needed by us.
